How to behave with animals

In order to have a lovely and safe encounter with our animals

How to behave with animals

Act friendly, calm and consequent in company with animals.

Turn and walk calmly away from any animal that behaves in a way you do not feel comfortable with.

Animals with feathers normally dislike to be pet.

Animals with fur normally like to be cuddled and scratched. But do not touch their horns, as that might be an invitation to hit you.

Never give animals anything to eat that they are not already used to eating.

Give the animals a chance to approach you to be pet. Do not run to catch them up.

Wild animals, as hares and moose, have no tolerance to some of our bacterias. If they act confident and calm you may pet them carefully, but do not let them lick your hand.
